Random Lines appearing on every page in Layout

Hello,

I’m fairly new to Sketchup, so pardon me if this is a dumb question. When I sent my model to Layout, the same random lines are appearing on every single page. I used scenes from my model for every page. What is happening??

This is not specific to your scenes. It is an issue reported a while back and was supposed to have been fixed. Are you still using SU/LO 2019?

Hi, This is a display only issue on macOS in LayOut 2020.0 that does not affect printing or exporting. It should only occur if you are zoomed in past a certain zoom level, which may vary per document. We are investigating this issue, but don’t have a timeframe for a fix. If you are using SU/LO 2020 update to the latest version.

What Dave refers to is listed as fixed in the 2020.1 release notes:

• (Mac) Fixed the strange artifacts that would show up at certain zoom levels.

I am using 2020. Thank you! Maybe I need to update it, but I’m glad it won’t affect printing or exporting. Thank you so much!

It would be a good idea to update to the latest version of 2020 to make sure it takes care of it. It is an easy thing to do and won’t take very long.
