Specific Layout files running slow

In my office we have multiple files that are running very slow, to the point were they are not worth using. We have opened them on multiple computers (Mac and Windows) and the same files are remaining slow on each computer while others run fine. Each computer is using Layout 2018. If there anyway to fix these files or a way to prevent it from happening to other files?

Think I have solved it! Clicking on the triangle does nothing but if you select all it becomes obvious that each triangle is within a blue bordered box. That probably represents a symbol that has been inadvertently deleted from my scrapbook. If I use a large enough bounding box to enclose the offending item I can then delete it. [image]
