Some components not showing up in my list of components

Not sure what is happening in my model. Im creating a set of cabinet components for my workflow. Using components for everything.

Finding this morning that some of the components are in the component panel list.

What would cause this behavior. Can supply the file if needed.

hummm could it be that you have components inside other components ? if so, are they the ones that don’t show ?

if so, in the small menu top right, you can develop.
If develop is not ticked, the panel will only show you the surface layer of components, not the sub components inside.

Appart from that, no idea comes to mind right now

As said, the English version says ‘Expand’ to list any nested components.
Groups are never listed, are you sure that you made components and not groups ?

I did not know about this “Expand” feature. You are correct, the components im looking for are within other components.

and it remains true, “I don’t know what I don’t know.”

ah yes. I had SU already open on something, didn’t want to restart it in UK to see :smiley:

if you want to learn all the small things and bits, try teaching. your student will ALWAYS click on EVERYTHING. that’s how I saw this menu :smiley:
