Snapping to the Floor with Component Attributes

I’ve been experimenting with the new Snaps feature, and how to refine the behaviour using Component Attributes. One thing that works really well is setting the height using Position Z = 0.

Less successful is my attempt to stop the component flipping down onto the floor …

In case anyone wants to have a go - here’s the version that snaps to the floor:
position and snaps.skp (594.7 KB)

And here is the version that tries to not rotate to the floor:
position rotation and snaps.skp (594.7 KB)

I am not at SketchUp now but I would make a component like this to stick to the floor simply by setting its Glue To property to either Any Or Horizontal. The component’s red/green plane should be at its bottom.

Thanks Anssi.

I’ve never really got on with glue-to! This is my attempt to make it work:

It certainly stops it flapping onto it’s back, but it seems to get in the way of the snaps function. Unless I’m done something wrong?
