Hi all,
I am trying to geo-locate a model in Google Earth, so I copied my building model from the main file (which includes context, entourage, etc.) into a completely new file with only the building and the location image/terrain imported from Trimble (file size is only 2,904KB). If I do ANYTHING in this new model, even the most simple action (pan, rotate, select, etc.), the instance of SketchUp freezes up for a while. I have the main file open (12x the size of the new file) and it runs without issue. The issue in the new file persists even when it is the only program running on my computer. I have done every trick I could find online to remedy this issue, but found no success. Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening? And/or how to fix this?
