In this video when using the tape measure tool between the 2 door openings, mentions to use the tape measure tool and input 6’ and not click esc or hit enter, claims that it will ask if you want to resize the active group or component. This does not show up for me.
using the tape measure tool click your first point - then your second point - then enter the dimension you wish to resize to - press enter - you should then get the prompt.
If you are resizing a group make sure the group is open.
Not sure why they said to use tape measure tool and check “without clicking anything else”

EDIT> I found the video. It says to use the tape measure tool to measure between the doors and then without clicking anything else to type 6 feet. Once you type in 6 feet and hit enter SketchUp will ask if you want to resize the model.
