Sketchup is running slowly even though there are no models on screen. I reinstalled it with no luck. It was working fine, but then started acting like I had an extremely complex model loaded. I’m on an MSI GS63VR, but regardless, there’s nothing loaded anyway, so there’s apparently some other issue going on. Maybe graphics card or something. Any ideas?
First question to you: Did you install it correctly using Run as administrator or did you just double click on the installer?
There have been numerous accounts of recent updates from Microsoft cause very sluggish behavior in SketchUp as well as some other software. You might have a read through those threads. Scroll through the forum a bit and you’ll see them.
Looks like a driver update fixed it. Thought it was up to date. Nevermind.
