Sketchup Pro on windows VM gives hardware acceleration error

I have a Windows server 2016 VM running with Nvidia Tesla K80 with an updated driver, and 56 GB memory, and I get the following error when I try to launch it

  • Hardware acceleration is unsupported or has been disabled on your graphics card. SketchUp requires that you use a hardware accelerated graphics card.

any thoughts why would this happen ?
