Sketchup Pro 2020- Unable to Start Free Trial

Me too. Did someone say there’s a classic license work around to use for the time being?

I suggested it as a possibility, but there does seem to be a problem for many people, so I think I was wrong.

I am having the same problem as well.

I made a classic license that will work until Friday. Hopefully that will be enough time for the trial issues to be fixed. You add a classic license by clicking Add Classic License in the welcome screen, then Add License, and copy and paste in the serial number and authorization code. Click the Add License button.

Once the license is added there will be a Remove License option, and on Saturday when the license has expired you should use that option to remove the license. Having a, hopefully, working trial subscription and an expired classic license, can lead to some confusion.

Hello! I’ve tried using the values that you gave us, but it is still not working… Is there anything that I can do? (I tried copy-pasting them, I tried typing them, still not valid)

It is said that the licence should start with the letter ‘U’.

The license number that Colin posted is for version 2020. You should try that

It is possible to start a new trial with 2019, and that is likely to fail too. I could make a 2019 license to solve that, but I think it will be relatively few people starting a trial at the moment will have downloaded 2019.

I did also make a 2019 license, but I won’t post that here to avoid confusion if someone grabs the wrong one. If you need to do the trial with 2019, let me know and I will send you the right numbers.

You have the same issue other people have, and my post that is marked as the solution gives you a classic license you can use for the next five days. Hopefully the issue with trials will be fixed tomorrow.
