Sketchup model to msfs2020

Hello. I was introduced to Sketchup a couple of days ago and I love the 3D application. I would like to import the model to msfs2020 but I am having issues importing the texture files from sketchup. I have run it through Blender but have been unsuccessful so far.

Anyone able to help me troubleshoot so I am able to have textured and detailed scenery object in the sim?

So based on your forum profile you are using the free web-based version. What file are you exporting from SketchUp?

We might be able to help you troubleshoot but you’d need to share the .skp file with us first.

Thank you so much. Please see the attached .skp file.

Thank you so much Dave. I see you deleted your post and I dont know why, but I can give you a general reply still.

-I have been using the app.sketchup.com site. Is that not the free web based version, or is that considered to be something else?

-I used groups and components on several parts of the building but when importing them to Blender they got all messed up. I read from one of the youtubers that exploding the model makes it easier for blender to “understand” each face to edit/texture. But I would very much prefer to keep it with groups and components contained

-to import the model to Blender for further export to msfs, how would you go forward to contain both the textures and the 3Dmodel?

-I will make the building again and see if that helps. Thanks for the advice!
