I have been using SketchUp for some time now as a private user in the free web version (I have already created a few things).
Now, for the first time, I am having the problem that after logging in (email address, password, verification code), the SketchUp logo appears and that’s it. Log in with my iPad works without any problem.
I haven’t changed anything in the setup since last successful login:
W11 Pro 25H2
Firefox 147.0.2 64-bit
I have already tried the following (being logged out on the iPad):
Restarted the computer (several times)
Deleted cache and cookies (cookies are allowed)
Any ideas what the problem could cause or what else I could try?
thanks for letting me know! It worked with Chrome.
What I don’t understand (and would like to understand) is why it suddenly stopped working with Firefox. The last Firefox update was only a few days ago, but I was already working with the web app after that.
Well, since it works with Chrome but not with Firefox we can surmise there’s nothing wrong with SketchUp and that the problem lies with Firefox. Narrowing it down. It might be that you need to clear out the browsing history and other caches for Firefox. That would at least be the next step, anyway.
It’s possible there’s a conflict with some other files in the browser caches, too.
Thanks for your help! Here is the screenshot. It’s important to mention that I haven’t made any changes to the setup since I was last able to log in successfully (two days ago), which is why I’m surprised by this behaviour.
Cookies and cache are deleted every time I close my browser (it’s always been that way).
