Sketchup free file won't open

I go to a lot of sites and after viewing one of them I started getting random popups. I noticed that there was an icon on my address bar and when I opened it there were extensions that I didn’t recognize so i deleted them. after doing this i went on sketchup free and logged in. but when i tried to open my files they wouldn’t open. please help. i have a dell chromebook with an intel integrated hd graphics card and 16 gb ssd and 4gb of ram.

Share the .skp file so we can see what you are trying to open.

I can open the site and log in but when I try to open the files I’ve been working on before all this happened I get the rotating sketchup icon but the file never opens.

That’s why I asked you to share the SketchUp file. Go to your account at connect.trimble.com. Download the SketchUp file and then upload it here. If it’s larger than 16 Mb upload it to DropBox and share the link.

mobile home.skp (7.3 MB)

I wonder if your computer and/or internet connection aren’t robust enough to handle the plant and car components. See how this file behaves.
mobile home purged.skp (1.8 MB)
Note the file size reduction by purging unused stuff from the model.

You have quite a few exposed blue back faces. There should be none in your 3D model. You should correct those.

ok i think i was wrong about getting the site to open. i see what you mean about the file being complex but i was able to open it before i started having the popup problem. I uploaded the file to the viewer program you sent me the link for but i don’t know how to upload it to the online program. i still only get the icon to show up and wait for a long time before just giving up. thanks for all the help you have given me so far.
