SketchUp for Schools: Users stuck in a login loop on Windows 11 / Chrome & Edge

Hi Team,

We are experiencing a login loop issue with SketchUp for Schools for our domain, @tpis.ac.th, and need some assistance. Below are the details of our environment and the troubleshooting we’ve done so far:

  • Affected Domain: @tpis.ac.th

  • Problem Description: Users are unable to log in via edu.sketchup.com. After entering credentials, the system gets stuck in a continuous login loop/refresh cycle.

  • Environment:

    • OS: Entirely Windows 11 environment.

    • Browsers Tested: Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (both exhibit the exact same login loop behavior).

    • Deployment: We have already re-verified our setup by following the deployment guide video and reset up SketchUp for Schools for our organization, but the issue persists.

Could you please check if our domain (@tpis.ac.th) needs to be whitelisted on your end, or advise on what might be causing this loop?

Thanks for the @ to get my attention. I am just about to head into a meeting so I won’t have time to look into this in detail for a while but I can say that looping logins are usually caused by old cookies, bad cached files or popup blockers preventing the login from completing. Can you try clearing cookies, cached files and making sure you are not blocking any popups from our site as a first step? Once we rule those causes out we can start some more in depth troubleshooting.

Also, can you confirm if you deployed the app via Google or Microsoft? It sounded like you used Microsoft but I need to be 100% sure before I can recommend additional steps.

Hi Casey,

Thank you for your response.

We have already tried clearing cookies, cached files, and tested in Incognito mode with popups allowed. Unfortunately the issue persists.

To confirm : we deployed the app via Microsoft. Users are signing in with Microsoft Education accounts (@tpis.ac.th).

Looking forward to your next steps.
