Sketchup for Desktop Monthly Subscription Option

I’m not sure this is the best place to post feedback, but I couldn’t find any other options to do so. Please let me know if there’s a better place to put this.

Please do consider offering a monthly subscription option for Sketchup for Desktop. I suspect I’m not the only person with a similar need for this.

I am not a professional. I am a full-time stay-at-home mom and recently got into woodworking. While I acknowledge there is a free option and also SketchUp Go, they do not have the features I really need. However, Sketchup Pro, at $349 for just 1 year, is way out of my budget! Especially when I don’t need to use it daily. I do most of my woodworking in the winter and can’t justify spending that kind of money for something I’ll only use a few months out of the year. I would love to be able to pay to use Sketchup on a monthly as-needed basis. As I said above, I’m fairly certain there are others with similar budgets and similar situations. I’m sure we could all benefit from a monthly subscription option for SketchUp for Desktop.

I keep hoping some kind of monthly plan will pop up but I haven’t seen one so I thought why not suggest it. Please do consider offering something like this in the future!

There have been more requests here. This is the official sketch up forum and sketchup employees visit it and check for some features for the program.

If you’re doing woodworking as a hobbyist and you need to use plug-ins, you can use sketchup make 2017, that was the last free desktop version that allows the installation of plug-ins, there are a lot of people that still use it, if you google you can find the installer, it’s not on the official sketchup website anymore.
