I’ve downloaded SketchUp 2026 but it crashes without error message when I try to open
Did you reboot to clear memory before running the installer?
Did you right-click the installer and choose “Run as administrator” when installing?
What version of Windows are you running? (Your forum profile does not say.)
When was the last time you updated your Nvidia display drivers? (The GPU in your forum profile is quite old for a high performance app like SketchUp.)

Have now
Right clicked to Run as Administrator
Updated Nvidia RTX A3000 12GB Laptop GPU now updated
Used SketchUp help centre who directed me to a download link for SU 2026
All working now.

Weird. I had 2025 open and just went to Help - Check For Updates and had a perfect install. Seems like what the developers intended as it’s included in the program /shrug
