Curic Pie Menu caused me a lot of issues in 2025 which is unfortunate since I really liked it. Once I removed it, my Sketchup became much more stable. Profile Builder is another one that occasionally causes issues, but not to the extent that Curic was causing.
The naming of this developerās plugins can be somewhat confusing, whether in Chinese or English. On this page, thereās the AFU toolbar 3.4.5, which I have installed. I also have AFU cabinet punch holes 3.4.2 installed. The former is named āAFU321 - Whole House Customization Toolbarā in Chinese, while the latter is called āAFU321 Production Toolbar.ā Both contain a series of plugins, which indeed makes things quite complicated.
I encountered even bigger issues when upgrading from 1.3.1 to 1.4. Initially, I could only successfully upgrade by deleting version 1.3.1 from the plugin directory. As a result, version 1.4 failed to recognize many plugins. After downgrading back to 1.3.1, everything returned to normal. When I tried installing version 1.4 again, it allowed registration and recognized that it was the latest version but couldnāt be opened for use. But what else can I use? Iāve already given up on LOTT, and custom toolbars canāt accommodate too many icons either.

- Crash #25091 (died when exiting SketchUp, had to Force Quit)
- Crash #26182 (crashed when opening SketchUp, asking to re-login)
- Crash #28508 (crashed after purging unused components)
- Crash #30920 (after upgrading to new version, crashed when trying to purge unused components while exiting a small model)
- Crash #9843 (crashed in LayOut after importing a small SU model without any other operations)
- Crash #38502 (became unresponsive after using Curic Safe clean)
- Crash #38728 (crashed when using zoom tool to scale a box)
- Crash #40237 (crashed after deleting match photo scene)
- Crash #41344 (crashes every time when purging unused items in the Components panel)
