After upgrading to SketchUp 2025, the number of crashes has decreased significantly compared to before. Just when I thought this version was stable, it crashed twice today. The crash numbers are 10784 and 10785. Perhaps the crashes are related to my uninstalling Fredo6 LOTT? They occurred after I uninstalled it and restarted SketchUp. Could any technical staff help me investigate the cause of these crashes? Thank you very much!
The four bugsplats you have sent in are three different issues, a couple of which are extension related. It would be worth checking if your extensions are up to date. There is a very recent update to Curic Select, though that doesn’t seem to cause crashes. Here’s the new version of that extension:
Thank you very much! I also know that without using any third-party plugins, even SketchUp 2024 with macOS 15 is quite stable and doesn’t crash. Most crashes are related to plugins. It would be great if SketchUp could clearly indicate which plugin caused the crash. If that were the case, I would rather uninstall those plugins. I can’t afford to lose something significant for a minor issue. It’s fine not to use a particular plugin, but SketchUp is essential for me.

This time the crash happened while Curic OI was loading.
It’s strange that Curic OI hasn’t caused any issues even though I haven’t used it. What I mean is, for a plugin, I would expect it to either be compatible with the latest version of SketchUp or not. Right now, things seem a bit confusing. It’s unclear when plugins will cause errors.
I have had many issues with Curic’s plugins, so much so that I gave up on them. They would not load, they caused conflicts with other extensions.
It’s really frustrating. I spent quite a bit of money on Curic’s plugins. It would be such a waste not to use them.

Question: how large is your LayOut document? We’ve had an issue that we’re working on that may affect large documents, so I’m curious if this crash matches those conditions. Can you share the file?

I have just started learning to use LayOut, so I don’t have any large documents. My SketchUp model only contains a simple box. In the most recent crash, I’m not sure if it was caused by opening a LayOut template or a LayOut scrapbook, but both of them are very small. They are attached here.
