I am having an issue which remains unsolved after trying a lot of things. When I start a V-Ray render on my 75MB Sketchup 2024 file, it sometimes freezes my whole PC and needs a restart, since everything becomes unclickable and the mouse dissapears (cant open task manager or anything else).
I have updated to the latest certified nvidia studio drivers by Vray 560.91 (or something like that), win11 up to date, everything is properly confiugured. The system specs are:
After observing event manager, it only said a driver issue (so I had to downgrade to 560.91 from 566), since the 566 is a 10 day old driver and Vray havent implemented it yet. After downgrading, the driver issue in event manager is solved, but I cannot see any log from the freezes. I think I am not going too hard on the settings, exporting at FHD 1920x1080p , posting pics here. I also think that part of the issue from the Vray logs comes from the fact that firstly I worked on texturing this model on my laptop, and then I transfered the file to my main PC so that I can render on the RTX 4090. I am not 100% sure, but I think thats why it lights up in orange. 50% of the times it finishes the render while ignoring those erros, but the other times it just freezes and I cannot see if it logs another error.
Sadly it didn’t help. Some of the times it still freezes (no pattern) and some of the times it finishes the render successfully. I’ve managed to dig in %appdata% and get the very last 50-60 rows of logs before the crash and I’m uploading them here:
Those 2 rows are the last info I’ve got before the PC needs a full restart /9because of the freeze/0.

Thank you, this fixed my previous issues. But now a new one occured and I am clueless again.
Attaching a screenshot from the V-ray log:
Im using RTX rendering (same error in CUDA too), Have been testing various settings and yet no success. The specific scene im rendering is a small room, with no sunlight, not much objects and in my head should be easily handled by RTX 4090. Attaching my settings too.
