I haven’t used Vray, and I’m just a beginner with Enscape. However, I’ve heard that Vray 7 supports GPU rendering, and I’ve seen reviews indicating that the rendering speed of Vray 7 has improved significantly.
Some people use a workflow involving SketchUp, Enscape, and Vray; they quickly complete their designs in Enscape and then refine them in Vray. It’s said that Chaos has integrated Enscape and Vray so they can easily share models.
Additionally, the Mac Studio has better cooling capabilities, which might allow it to fully utilize the potential of the Max chip.
Yes, don’t pay for something where there is no demand. Perhaps the M6 or M7 could far exceed the M4 Max? Meeting demands for 1-2 years is reasonable. Additionally, products with lower prices are easier to sell as second-hand.
Thank you very much, I have disabled Curic Stretch.
I’m curious, every time SketchUp crashes, there’s usually a bug report. I generally choose to send it to SketchUp. So, do the technicians pay attention to these reports and analyze their causes? Do they list the reasons for users to review? Most of the time, I don’t take note of the report numbers, but I could record them all and seek help on the forum. However, this might create a lot of trouble for the technicians.
We look at the ones that come in the most, and we look at specific ones that a person contacting support would have sent in. Clearly I also check the ones that get reported in the forum!
When a given issue has been worked out, meaning we know what leads to that crash, a custom message is put into the bugsplat page that you are shown after sending one in. Then hopefully anyone getting the same crash will see a message, that might be on the lines of “we fixed that in an update, please install the latest version”. Or in some cases where there isn’t a fix, but there is a work around, that would be given instead.
For the report numbers, I don’t need that if the report was sent in with the name or email fields filled in. Then I can search for that email, to see all of the bugsplats the person has sent in. You used a different email address than you use in the forum, which made it more of a challenge. I think you have sent in 28 bugsplats.
I don’t remember how many times I’ve submitted error reports. Sometimes I clicked “submit” after a crash, and sometimes I chose not to submit. The email ID I registered with on the forum is different from the one I use for logging into SketchUp; the forum email is my regular one, while the SketchUp account email is rarely used. What I’d like to know is where can I find a consolidated list of bugs? I’ve never been clear about this issue. Starting yesterday, I’ve been recording the BugSplat numbers and what actions I was performing when crashes occur. Once I’ve accumulated five or more instances, I’ll consult you in this thread. The email I’m using for submitting error reports should be shanekong@gmail.com.
Hello, I have recorded the last 5 crashes, including the crash numbers and what actions I took at that time. #136496:I removed the icon for disabling Curic Stretch from LOTT, and it crashed when I restarted SU. #136730:After upgrading Fredo Thrupaint to version 2.8a, SU crashes upon restart. #136738:Thrupaint prompts for LibFredo6 version 14.7, and then SU crashes. This is the first time it hasn’t crashed during SU startup. #136755:I set a shortcut key “X” for X-ray, and then SU crashed. After restarting SU, the setting was lost. #140442:Today, I opened SU for the first time and it crashed without doing anything.
But overall, as long as it’s not the first restart of SU after installing a certain plugin, the crashes are relatively infrequent and within a tolerable range. However, I still hope for official support for macOS 15.
Thanks a lot for help.
