Sketchup. Please look into Vive conflicts with Sketch-Up and advise.
Conclusion
Disconnected ViVe - freezing in SketchUp resolved
Background
Program freezing (both 2019 and 2018 pro) while generating components, otherwise no other program conflicts. My process below… shows what I went through while testing errors. I did not disconnect my Vive. During service call… we took the monitors down to one and all SketchUp conflicts resolved.

----- long version of testing workflow-------------
- Re-installed Sketchup (as Administrator)
> using the Help tab in Sketch-Up… I installed and ran the “SketchUp Checkup” resource. See error window below.
- At first, I thought the problem might be caused by a new driver, so I rolled back to a much older driver, and this did not fix the problem.
So now I think that there must be some setting Sketch-Up needs to access the graphics card that has somehow been turned off.
- 3D settings
In the Nvidia control panel, under 3D Settings, Manage 3D settings, Program Settings (tab), Select a program to customize, I have the Trimble Sketchup added.
> But I am unsure if any settings in here could be causing the disconnect with the graphics card.
Graphics Settings, in the windows control panel, I have added Sketch-Up, and set its preference to the Classic App.
> In the options, I tried Power Saving as well as High Performance, and neither of these solved the problem.
