Intalled Sketchup 2016 on my new purpose built pc and it was working fine until today when I open it it crashes immediately. I have the “light up” plug in installed and cant seem to find it to uninstall to see if that is the problem. I have re-installed sketchup or “repaired” as windows calls it to no avail. Please Help!! I need this for work.

If it’s not in there, then it might have been installed using an ‘installer’ exe, rather than the built in ‘Install Extension…’ tool.
If so look in this alternative ‘all-users’ folder [if it exists]:
C:\ProgramData\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\SketchUp\Plugins
