Shadows not working in Sketchup Pro (7 day trial)

Hello!

I am trying to test shadows and sunlight on a massing model and the shadows are not working.

A number of issues as outlined below.

I have set the geo-location to Melbourne, Australia. In that window it reassures me that shadows will now be accurate.

When I open up the shadow tool, the time and date is greyed out and the shadows are coming from the south (incorrect for the southern hemisphere, sun needs to come from the north)

Upload your file or post a link to it in a file sharing service for a the quickest diagnosis. Guess: are you using environments, perhaps with the skydome turned off? Open the environments panel and switch to edit, do you have “set sun location” checked? This would override the geo-location sun info.

Ahh thank you so much that fixed it!

Environment tool is new to me so couldn’t troubleshoot it myself.
