What happens if you set up the text and then just save it as a regular LayOut file on your desktop. Does it open with the select fonts?
CLearly this is something with LayOut on your machines. If it was the way LAyOut was hsipped, the rest of us could duplicate your experience.
Yepp, i know that. Thats why i think my surname or the folder “user” in Swedish is “användare” could be the issue because it contains special caracters. So is my trimble id because my surname is Bergström. This was a problem a 2022 when trimble had an upgrade in TBC and it was also a problem when i was beta in scan essentials. Sketchup team should know this. Here is where its saved.
Maybe @adam can address the special characters but in the meantime you could try renaming the folder to remove the special characters and see if there’s a change in behavior.
Even if i save it as a layout file like a project and open it again its back to the verdana font and the same as the first time.
I think this is a thing for Adam. Hopefully he’ll look in on Moday when he’s back in his office.
Can you create a new windows user ‘Joe’ no special characters, etc. - then install SKP and LO for that user and see if the problem persists?
Have you tried saving the template with the items you want moved to the grey area (does not print) and seeing if they come back in the correct font? You can then eyedropper as needed to at least be able to work the way you want to as this gets resolved.
