I designed a cabinet, made it a group, then x 20 of them. I then took one of them, scaled it to make it smaller and did the same thing (x20 of them) to play with my kitchen renovation project.
So I now have one cabinet that is 36" wide, and the same design but 24".
The only problem is that they are now all in one massive group and ideally i’d love each size to be their own component, but not mixed together as a group.
Tried to “Edit Group” but there is no “cut” option to separate. Help!

What version of SketchUp are you using? Are you using SketchUp Pro or SketchUp for iPad? Your forum profile is not clear. If SketchUp Pro, which version?
Cut appears in the Edit menu in SketchUp Pro.

It sounds like you have all of your individual cabinets together inside of one group? Is that correct? If so, the ‘cut’ tool you’re looking for is actually ‘explode’. If you explode your larger ‘container’ group, you’ll get each cabinet separated from each other. Also note that if you make the groups first, and then components, they’ll be individual components. It may be better in the future to make one a component, then copy it and choose to ‘make unique’ - giving you a new component. This way if you want copies of any of your cabinets and you edit one, each of them will edit respectively.
