Scale the imported floor plan with the Tape Measure

Hello, I’m a beginner for SketchUp and English is not my mother tongue, excuse me.

i’m trying to scale a doorway where it is on a raster file which is PNGs.

After importing it as a image, i exploded it and make it be a group right after.
and next thing i need to do is to scale it with the Tape Measure.
so i went into the editing box of it, tried to scale it with the tool.
But when i put the tool on the doorway’s one edge on the PNG image., nothing is snapped.
is there a problem with the PNG file? if it is, could i know where i can get a raster file floor plan for just practicing SketchUp?

Thank you for reading this. Have a great day guys~!

Resizing with Tape Measurement in SketchUp for Web (Go)

Better to just keep it as an image and group it.

You can’t snap to an image. If it is a group - double click it to edit it.

Draw some lines over the image where you want to scale ie - the width of the door, or the length of a room.

Use the tape measure tool to snap between 2 ends or the line you drew. Type the dimension of what the line should be.

Close the group.

Thanks a lot, i’m studying with a book about SketchUp, the book says just scaling up the JPG image file and looks there is snapping in the figure picture of it, but in the tool i’m using now, i couldn’t find and follow the book. but with ur vedio, explaining, i could do it, thanks a lot.
