S4u weld extension

I have downloaded and installed s4u weld and when try to use it a popup window came up asking for email and authorization code, can someone tell me were to find it please?

Go to the website linked on the Extension Warehouse page and purchase the license.

Are you still using SketchUp 2023? What operating system? Please correct and update your forum profile.

Hola Dave,

I am using 2025 in windows 11 but, isn’t it supposed to be Free? is it safe to buy?

Please put that in your profile. Hiding your profile just makes it more difficult to get help when you have questions.

No. Unfortunately the Extension Warehouse doesn’t show it as a paid extension because the author sells it outside of the Warehouse.

Yes. Many users use the paid extensions by the same author. I’ve never seen a single complaint about issues caused by purchasing them.

Got the code. Thank you. Will change profile. Happy Holidays

But it didn’t help. I was trying to get the radius of a segmented curve but, even welded I can’t get it :frowning:

Is the radius identified as an arc when you select it? If not it won’t have a radius. If you share the model it would be easier to give you guidance.

And happy holidays to you, too.

The radius is something SketchUp remembers when you draw a circular arc or a full circle using the built-in Tools. It isn’t something SketchUp knows how to calculate later, and doesn’t exist for generic curves (called polylines in some apps), including ones you built by welding segments together. If the polyline segments actually lie on a circle, there are extensions that will find the center and radius. Otherwise you will need to delete the curve and redraw it as a circle.

FWIW, if the edges in the curve are all the same length and could be considered an Arc, Eneroth Auto Weld will convert then into an arc in the process of welding them.
