I have a friend that is an older Architect that still draws everything by hand with actual pencils, .
He is asking me for a few renderings of a custom home project of his. I haven’t had time to dig into learning all the ins and outs of Rendering, and I don’t have time to learn Rendering from scratch, so I want to pay someone to help accelerate my learning curve.
I haven’t purchased any rendering software yet, but I did have Lumion several years ago, so I have a general idea of renderings. I want to upgrade my Sketchup Pro to Studio and use V Ray for the Rendering unless you think another Rendering Software is better.
Note: The view through the windows in the Rendering is of the natural desert mountains in the area he builds in.

Here is what my client sent me for reference as to what they are looking for.
Commenting here just to recommend you enscape and twinmotion, those softwares are very intuitive and faster to learn than Vray for beginners. Those renders you shared don’t look so realistic and it’s easy to achieve those results with either of both engines, Vray can create a lot more realistic renders, and if you really want to learn it you can start with the free courses on the sketchup website.
May I suggest that you look at www.conceptdesignarchitect.com? Jason teaches a great, fast method for conceptual rendering that I find much more appealing than photorealistic rendering at least in the conceptual phases of the project. I’m going through it right now and loving it. You use only SketchUp and Photoshop. I had never used Photoshop before this class.
Hi Jay,
Depending on the complexity of the design and how much info there is to work from I could offer some options. Here’s a link to my webpage with examples of some of my work. I’ll shoot you an email as well.
