Remove Sketchup geometry after importing to Revit?

I’m having issues importing a Sketchup site into Revit. I have the sketchup model all finished with contours made from the “show terrain” option making it a smooth site. But when I import it into Revit I see the hidden geometry that I wouldn’t see in Sketchup. I’m not sure how to remove it. I linked a photo to show what I mean

It is a problem with how Revit handles 3D face geometry. It doesn’t respect smoothed or hidden edges. Best option is perhaps to recreate the toposurface with Revit tools, using the SketchUp model as a guide.
