Hi, I messed around with the orbit and since my rectangle tool does not align with my tape measuring guides or the rest of my floor plan. It’s slightly off and I can’t get it to light up. A newbie needs help… Thank you in advance.
This won’t have anything to do with Orbit. The Rectangle tool creates rectangles that are parallel to the axes. The rectangle would only be parallel to guide lines if they are parallel to the axes.
Share the SketchUp file so we can see what you’ve got.
Did you perhaps change the drawing axes by a small amount after creating the guides? If you right-click on an axis, there will be a menu item “reset”. If it is not grayed out, try clicking it to see if that fixes the problem. Otherwise, as Dave requested, please attach a skp file so we can try to see what is going on.
