Hello Sketchup community,
I wanted to know if I created a 2x4 component say 8ft long with 45 degree bevel cuts on each end and then decide I want it to be 4ft long instead. Would I have to recreate a 4 foot 2x4 and then redo the bevel cuts? Or is it possible to push/pull the 8ft board component to 4ft

Select the end and use the move tool to move it 4 feet.
I’d just select and move one end.
