Problem with DWG export from Layout

I have a problem exporting a played out drawing to DWG.

When I open the DWG in ArchiCAD it comes out aligned with only viewport (converted to vector.)

The render is set up to Output as Hybrid, so this solved the problem of the viewports being only images, but I don’t understand why would the drawing not open as it’s played out…It’s doesn’t have any information over it - all work done in Layout.

This is part of the drawing shown in Layout

Export settings

The way it come in in ArchiCAD

Your export settings put all the annotations you added in LayOut on the Paper Space sheet in the AutoCad file. Archicad only imports Model space entities.
A solution might be to check the funnily named “Export for SketchUp” box. This exports your full LayOut page to the Model space in AutoCad, The downside is that the export is to the page scale so to get to full scale you have to scale the geometry up in AutoCad before importing, or if possible, use an appropriate import unit in Archicad, or to scale the imported file in Archicad.
I made a FR years ago to add a scale factor to the LayOut export options when using this option.

Does this mean that the file would import well in AutoCAD? Is it just an ArchiCAD specific issue?

Yes, viewing the paper space tab in AutoCad would show your LayOut page almost exactly as it looks in LayOut, with your added annotations on the “page” and your model views in model space viewports. If you don’t have AutoCad you can download and install the free DWG TrueView application from Autodesk to view what the Paper space tab shows.
Note that the link drawing function in Archicad also supports the PDF format.
