Problem with applying texture

Hello everyone,

New sketchup user here. I’m experiencing some issues with applying textures to surfaces. Sometimes the imported one (as a texture) sometimes the ones from warehouse…

Is it my laptop (cause its due to be changed and get stronger one) or is it something that i’m clearly missing?

You just imported an image over your model, you didn’t apply a texture to the geometry.
