But just think of the ROI
Maybe you could set up a GoFundMe thing and mention it tomorrow afternoon.

Boom! Bag 14 is done! You know, there are certain points in building a LEGO model that you put things where they go because they fit… you can rotate a piece with a hinge until it hits the rest of the model… this is a lot tougher when you are dealing with things that do not collide with other things… the whole issue is compounded when you have a chunk that consists of three pieces held together with a series of hinges… Yay! Fun!
I’ve got to say I am very impressed. This model is intense. What is the overall size (Mb) of the model now?
SketchUp should 3D print the model in its entirety at 2X or 3X size and then show it off at the next Basecamp.
Currently 57.9 MB
Just over 4 million Edges
1.4 M faces
and 6,660 component instances
Still performs very well on my machine!
If you want to request collision detection as a feature, I have contacts on the team I can introduce you to.
How do you manage and try to reuse all your components? There must be a huge number of them.
This reminds me Lego creator game for PC in 1998
1400 faces? Surely that should be 1.4M?
I request that this model be run through MSPhysics! Frikkin’ laserbeams! (Now that’s a live stream for yah!)
Oh man, that nostalgia wave you just induced in my brain.
I still hear the scratching sound when browsing the pieces.
That is awesome!
There’s a team working on that?
I meant the overall SketchUp team, not a sub-team that works on a specific feature.
Impressive work… sorry fun!
