Oh… I just checked the PDF they offer and I see what you mean now. And I realize that they only do 1:1 of the Technic parts, not the other ones…
@TheOnlyAaron Thanks again for the idea. Here’s my progress of the Lego’s “Fallingwater”. The foundation is complete. I modeled the first block from scratch based on Lego’s dimensions and then kept building new blocks from that one as needed. What did you use to dimension the round objects in the Falcon?
I’m just going to leave this here…
*runs*
And why is that?
Do we need to scale the “3piece” till it fits the bottom plate?
Or is this magic Lego?
Or are we supposed to collect some “cookies” to get you a 4piece?
Not only is assembling the kit mind blowing, but think about who ever had to create it from scratch for production.
I’d love such a job!
Maybe there was an SketchUp model in the beginning already?!
My worst nigthmare !
@TheOnlyAaron, yes this is an ad I just saw, I don’t mean it as spam.
Millennium Falcon speed build
The video is awesome!
Alright! Who wants to chip in on a Millennium Falcon LEGO kit! I’ll live stream the assembly !!
I’ve never even seen it in real life!
What currency is that? Amazon (US) has it for $799.95.
Norwegian Krone?
Looks like Thom Thom should get one from Amazon. The price he shows works out to $948!
Yea, NOK. Ordering from Amazon wouldn’t help much due to import taxes.
You could buy it here, assemble it with Aaron and then take it home in your suitcase.
It’d have to be a pretty big suitcase. I’ve seen the kit assembled… it’s yuuuuge!
Maybe I should buy it next time I’m in the US, assemble it and then just sell it…
That’s what I think most should do with new SW Lego sets. Buy 3, assemble 1 and then put the other 2 up and see in 5+ years what they are worth. I mean they ALL triple in value
So… now I have to come up with $2400?? Oh man… this is getting more and more difficult!!
