The selection menu does not appear when I select the paint option. It will paint but only on the last selection I made “glass”.
Am able to use the Alt to “sample material to accomplish the colors in the model but still no menu to select new colors/textures. Long time user of Sketchup Pro.
What version of SketchUp? (Your forum profile says 2018.)
EDIT: Oh, I see you mention SU2024 in the topic title. (You should still update your forum profile.)
You do not see the Materials panel when you activate the Paint Bucket tool?
If the SketchUp application caption bar goes grey (to signal another window has the focus,) and you do not see the window with focus, then the latter could be lost offscreen.
To bring the window back onscreen:
As said, after hitting one of the arrow keys, wiggle the mouse around and the mouse cursor should have ahold of the errant window by it’s caption bar. Place in on the screen where desired.
Thank you! That worked. Hope I don’t have to do that every time I’m modeling. Wonder why this started happening…

Did you have an extra display attached previously? OR, did you use a notebook dock?
