Outliner tray slows down SU

Hi,

I’m somewhat new to SU and just started using the Outliner feature. When I have the Outliner Tray open and I change a Scene or Layer visibility, the Outliner windows scroll and refreshes and causes SU to stop responding. I have it set to Collapse All. Is there a way to fix this other than always closing the Outliner Tray?

Probably not. The Outliner is a notorious bogger-down in SketchUp.

Set it to Auto-Hide (click the pushpin icon on it’s captionbar) so it is hidden when your not using it. (It becomes a tab on the margin of the application window.)
