But did you update them after changing the visibility of that layer? They will remember it the way it was at their last update.
… sorry forgot to add that I made a group out of the entire house in one scene, then this happened in the other scenes.
Of course it happens. The existence of a group is not scene-related. Also, the visibility of objects that are within groups or components are not influenced by scenes, only the visibility of the whole group. You must use layers to control the visibility of nested objects with scene settings.
