Opening SketchUp model in iPad viewer app

I’ve emailed a 2020 SketchUp model to a client and they are having trouble opening it on an iPad (they have installed the viewer app).

They have Gmail and are reporting that when they click on the model attachment it won’t open.

Do they need to download it first? And if so, how do they open it once it’s downloaded?

When you choose an attachment you should get various options as to what to do with it. You may need to look in a More section to find an option to immediately open in the SketchUp app. Or you could save to Files, and then use the cloud icon from within the SketchUp app
