I downloaded a “SketchUp” that I was instructed to open in this newly downloaded program. I cannot open it nor can I move it into sketchup to open it. Help??
Attach the file that you are trying to open and let us take a look at it. Maybe one of us can figure out what’s going on.
To upload the file, click on the upload arrow in the reply box. That’s the 7th icon from the left. Then just follow the instructions to finish sending the file.
Exactly how are you attempting to open it?

Pat your profile does not say what version SketchUp you have installed. If you try to open a SKP file that was saved as a newer version, then an error dialog will popup telling you what the version differences are.
Is this like the error you got ?
