I’m using the Cutlist extension to layout my list of parts, I’m using solid timber.
I’m entering in the information regarding the timber sizes I have. however when looking at the parts list on Cutlist, it wont recognise the parts dimensions unless I add these specific dimensions into the timber cross section size on the materials page, it doesn’t seem to recognise I have a 190mm wide board which I want to get the 80mm wide pieces from? I therefore need to add 80mm as a dimension to the timber sizes on the materials page. What am I doing wrong?
TIA!
Hello,
For Opencutlist to be able to recognise the sections, they must be identical: you must indicate 80 x 25 sections.
You are now trying to extract the nomenclature of the cross-sections in the same way as for the panels. However, the dimensions can only be extracted along the length of the cuts in your 3000 and 2500 solid timber.
Help can be found here : https://docs.opencutlist.org/features/parts/parts-list/cutting-diagrams/dimensional
maybe you could define the 190x25 as a “sheet” with rough 3mm for cut, then you could get two finished 80mm out of a board, or three 60mm or combinations of widths
