Opacity slider - Sketchup 2024

m having trouble adjusting the opacity of a material using the opacity slider. Whenever I set the opacity to anything less than 100%, the material disappears completely. Any advice on how to fix this?

Which graphic engine are you using? (Window>Preferences>Graphics) I don’t see the same thing you are reporting. This is with the new graphics engine and an Nvidia graphics card.

I’m using an AMD Ryzen 5 5625U with Radeon Graphics, running at 2301 MHz, with 6 cores and 12 logical processors.

Why did you put Intel in the Graphics field in your profile?

Which graphics engine in SketchUp? Try using the other one and see what you get.

I must have got confused, i am using New graphics engine with AMD Radeon Graphics.

So did you try what I suggested and use the other one? (The Classic graphics engine)

Same material you’re showing in your screen shots.

Thanks for your help. It works

It is a known bug in the Radeon driver. Try updating the driver in case AMD had fixed it.
