I am a newby to sketchup. I am getting an OFFSET LIMITED TO______ ERROR when using the push/pull took pushing out a door cutout. It will not continue to let me perform the cut out.
Any solutions greatly appreciated
Your trying to push the cutout beyond the far face (of the wall.)
Use the inferencing engine to snap the push to the bottom edge of the wall’s far surface.
if you are trying to push/pull a face and it hits a diagonal line, then it will stop.
You can tap [ctrl] to leave the original face in place - this will ignore any diagonals and let you push/pull beyond the “Limited to…” error, but you will have to tidy up the result and make sure that the insides are inside and outsides are outside.
