Has anybody got a solution to this, preferably one that does not require a re-install. W10 and drivers up to date, was using it no problem only 24 hours ago.

Did you install by right clicking on the installer and selecting Run as administrator?
Yes did all the usual things, its been running fine for three months since I last refreshed my PC.
OK. Well, first thing I would do is find the installer, use Run as administrator and choose the Repair option. That’s not going to require uninstalling and reinistalling. It should only take a couple of minutes max and should not affect any of your custom assets.
