Newbie can't find the sandbox in Sketchup Pro 2018

Hi Everyone

I’ve been looking all over the place for the sandbox tools in Sketchup Pro 2018.

I can’t find them. How do you activate/locate them

Bit of history: I made use of the sandbox tools in Sketchup Make 2017, so I know how to activate the tools and what the buttons do, but it just isn’t there any more in Pro 2018. Has it been removed, or something?

Did you look in the Draw menu? Or look in View>Toolbars for the Sandbox toolbar? Is Sandbox Tools enabled in the Extension Manager found in the Window menu?

It should be right here under “Drawing”… shouldn’t it?

I’m confused.

No. Your screenshot doesn’t show the Draw menu. It should be in the Draw menu.

Oh dear!

Something has gone wrong here.

Do I have some kind of reduced version or something?

Look in the Window menu for Extensions Manager and see if Sandbox Tools has been enabled.

Also, did you install SketchUp correctly? that is, did you right click on the installer file you downloaded and choose Run as administrator?

Ooooooh.

I get it now! It used to be under preferences in the same menu (the first screen shot I showed you), but its moved a couple of steps down the list! Hehee.

Found it now.

Thank you so much for your help, Dave
