I downloaded the new 64 bit viewer today to view model from architect that wouldn’t open with older viewer I had been using successfully.
I could not get it to launch. I tried checking the windows 8 compatibility, but that didn’t work. My graphics card is Intel HD 4000. I had to do a system restore to re-install the older 32 bit version that had to be uninstalled just so I can still open other models I have to view.
Appreciate any advice.

recent SU v2017 requires OpenGL v3.0+ support of used graphics card driver, update the intel HD 4000 driver to version 10.18.10.4061 (or higher).
The Desktop Viewer has the same requirements as the main SketchUp application.
