I told what the issue is and asked if anyone else was experiencing it. The new environments and ambient occlusion are crashing the pc. They even have a custom message telling you to switch back to the classic graphics engine. I don’t need your smug doctor office analogies. That is ridiculous.

The only thing different is the Ambient Occlusion and Environments. Everything is the same as always. Give people credit for understanding what the problem is. There are no bug splat messages with most of these crashes. You are lucky to get a recovery file. I think SketchUp knows the issue and …

The last bugsplat I can find from you is from April. Did you send in more after that? For the crash in April, something was added to the next update to help with that particular issue. Have you sent in any bugsplats since updating to version 25.0.660?

I am not getting a bug splat option on every crash. Sometimes it’s just a crash but thankfully I am getting a recovery file though. Most crashes are true, just gone, crashes. I will say on some smaller house models it sems to survive but on larger townhome projects I am working on, it is worse.

I updated it but in my original post mention the equipment I am using and have the exact problem and asked if anyone else was experiencing the same issue.

by the way Tony, part the help anyone provides is based on the infos they have, and your profile is outdated.
are you still using sketchup 2020? with window10 and a RTX 2060?
