Need to learn sketchup for my architecture internship

I am starting my internship in two weeks and need to learn sketchup pretty good until then. What is the best way to go? Is there any good guides that you recommend?

Start by purchasing a subscription for SletchUp. There is no Free Plan of SketchUp Pro as you put in your forum profile. Or are you using a cracked version?

No, I am using the free version but starting in two weeks does not feel worth buying pro only for that time. Is there that big of a difference?

There is quite a bit of difference in the user interface between the free web version and SketchUp Pro on desktop. The basic tools are the same though.

Ah okay and it is not possible to get pro on trial version? I just need to learn the basics and workflow basically.

Yes, there is a 7 day trial…

Yeah cause that is the one that I have downloaded I think.

So, you are using the trial version of SketchUp Pro, not the online Free version…
Put that in your forum profile so it is not confusing anyone…

Oh I am sorry, must have wrote in the wrong ones. Is these campus videos best way to learn or is there third party videos thats better?

Start with the Campus tutorials and actually do them along with the videos. Also look at the SketchhUp YouTube channel, especially their Square One videos. There are loads of other videos on YouTube that purport to be tutorials. Many of them are really just someone speed modeling and not really instructional.

A 7-day trial period is not enough to become proficient. I would suggest that you get started right now on the tutorials. Don’t waste more time.

I will. I just need to grasp the basics in order to be able to work and develop when I start my internship in two weeks. There after I can keep developing at work I guess

After you go through the beginner tutorials methodically, and understand what you’re doing there, keep an eye on these forums where you can learn a ton from the professionals who dedicate their free time to helping people just like you. Some of them already replied here, and my recommendation is to always listen to them. They will never steer you wrong.
