I only had to open the file and save it again. The version of SketchUp I’m using has the fix that I mentioned.

@colin, next time, how can I prevent for this not to happen again?
Sorry for the mistake on my end. Still, use Trimble Connect to periodically save a backup.

I mentioned, we don’t know what causes the problem. If you see the error again, see if you can think of what action you had done recently. Go back to the previous version of the file that does open, and see if the same action causes the problem to reappear.

An aside about getting an image for a dialog box or messagebox ...
On Windows you can use ALT+PrintScreen and you get just the image of the window that has the focus copied into the clipboard. Then in the forum post editbox, place the cursor where you want the image and CTRL+V to paste it.
That HUGE bright white screen snip to show a small messagebox is REALLY annoying for us who run in darkmode.
