I was working on a project and it suddenly vanished. My save file is there, No log in issues. when I try to re open the file same thing no drawing. has anyone else come across this? did I press something?
Probably. Share the .skp file with us so we can try to help you.
What versionof SketchUp are you using? You put Free Plan in your forum profile. That’s the web based hobbyist version. Is that what you are really using?
It says the file is too big and i cant upload it. Im using the sketch up pro version.
Upload it to DropBox or We Transfer and share the link.
Please correct your forum profile and include the right information. Also put in the graphics card model. “11” does not identify a graphics card.
Alright. You managed to get the camera positioned at a huge distance from the model. I fixed that. Then I fixed incorrect tag usage.
All edges and faces should be untagged. I expect most of this came from objects you collected from the 3D Warehouse.
I also purgged a small hoard of unused components, matterials, and then tags from your model.
This reduced file size by more than 45%. You should be working to keep your models clean. Don’t use high-poly components from the 3D Warehouse, either.
I’ll upload the recovered SketchUp file while you fix your forum profile.
Okay thank you so much! Also where can i change my profile information from and i dont know what my graphics card is.
Click on the K in the gray circle in the upper right corner of the forum window. Click on the Person icon and then Preferences. Go to Profile and edit your profile.
I fixed it.
Thank you.
