Hi!
I see this problem has come up in the past, but my file is too big to upload. My assignment is due soon, what do I do??!
I see my file is there but when I open it, my model is gone!
Any suggestion?!
Thank you!

Upload the .skp file to DropBox and share the link so we can see it and help you sort it out.
What operating system? 2021 does not identify your operating system.
thank you!
I am just working on that now.
What do you mean by operating system?
The operating system of your computer. Typically Windows 10 or some Mac version.
Thank you, Windows 10.
File is now uploading on Dropbox.
Here is the link
Link doesn’t seem to work.
This is the link dropbox is providing, I am unsure myself what to do.
I see it does not exist when I click on it.
Another way I attempt to add a SketchUp file, will only allow other types of documents, like Word…
All I get is a white screen when I click on your link.
Maybe try Google Drive or WE Transfer?
It downloaded ok for me. All the tags were set non-visible, which shouldn’t have been possible. Do you have some sort of tag manipulation extension installed? Here’s what I see after I turn them back on.
Your model is severely bloated with heavy entourage objects (over 2.3 million edges). Perhaps you were trying to make it more cooperative by turning off tags when this happened?
I just tried again and was able to open your file, too.
Like Steve I see problems with your file. Also weird that all of the tags and Untagged were set to invisible. In addition to his comments about excessively detailed components, face orientation and missing faces, it would be a good idea to purge unused stuff once in awhile. This knocked more than 42% off the file size.
wow thank you so much!
that was so close and I was already imagining hours of lost work.
I appreciate this more than you can imagine.
How do I access my own file now properly ??
That seems understandable, for I have never purged before (not sure how!)
Window>Model Info>Statistics>Purge Unused.
Here’s an example of the excessive geometry. More than 66500 entities (edges and faces) in a napkin. That’s great if the model is only about the napkin but I don’t think that’s the case here.
I do not remember turning off tags… I suppose was accidental somehow
Just open it as usual and turn all the tag visibilities back on.
In model info->statistics, click the button labeled purge.
The worst offenders are the two dining room suite groups, with over 600,000 edges and 360,000 faces each! There are also two curtains with over 123,000 edges each.
The two dining room suite groups are a trick to operate the mirror in one of them that I saw online. I canny believe it was all from turning off tags! WOW. On the other hand, what a sigh of relief!
These are all taken from the 3D warehouse, there should be a rule to purge before you upload
